For the dinner table

The khutbah showed us the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, as a loving father, grandfather, and husband. He expressed tenderness and grief for his daughter Zainab, played with his grandchildren, and made room for children even during worship and important community duties. His example reminds us that being busy does not excuse us from giving our families patience, attention, and affection. A simple story, game, or moment of listening may mean the whole world to a child. Learning about the Prophet’s family life is an act of worship when it helps us bring his mercy and good character into our own homes.
