For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that faith gives us a way to live through both hardship and happiness. Surah ad-Duha teaches that a difficult season or an unanswered prayer does not mean Allah has abandoned us. We should answer blessings with gratitude and difficulties with patience and trust. We can show that gratitude by continuing prayer and dhikr after Ramadan, reading some Quran every day, and helping people in need. The goal is a contented life rooted in remembering Allah and hoping for His lasting reward.

  1. What is one blessing you can thank Allah for today, and how could you show that thanks?
  2. What small Quran or dhikr habit could we keep this week?
  3. Who around us might need help, encouragement, or generosity this week?
