For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminds us that brotherhood is more than a feeling: we show the Sunnah through our actions and love for others what we love for ourselves. That includes honesty and fairness in business, such as not interfering with another person’s agreed sale. The speaker encouraged us to keep improving our faith, hearts, speech, and deeds while asking Allah for forgiveness and mercy. We should remember relatives who are sick or have died and make dua for them. The community was also invited to learn together and support people affected by crises.

  1. What is one Sunnah you can show through your actions this week?
  2. How can we be fair when someone else has already made an agreement?
  3. Who in our family or community needs our dua today?
