The khutbah teaches that our actions gain their deepest value from sincere intention. Intention is more than saying we plan to do something; it is the purpose in our hearts and who we are doing it for. When we act for Allah, work, study, and raising children can all become worship. As Ramadan approaches, we should reflect on whether we fast and attend the masjid for Allah or simply because others are doing so. The goal is to seek Allah’s reward and forgiveness in every action.
