For the dinner table

Today we heard that hidayah, or guidance, is one of Allah’s greatest gifts. We ask for it in every rak’ah, and it should shape our worship, choices, work, emotions, and response to suffering. The Prophet’s example teaches balance: pray and rest, fast and eat, and live responsibly. We can seek guidance by reading the Quran, keeping our five daily prayers, acting on what we learn, and making dua for people facing oppression. The goal is a life guided toward Jannah and, above all, closeness to Allah.

  1. Where do you most need Allah’s guidance right now?
  2. What is one Quran habit or prayer improvement you can try this week?
  3. How can our family show concern for Muslims suffering far away?
