Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that being Allah's servant is an honor, and the Prophet Muhammad showed us what devoted servanthood looks like. It highlighted ten qualities in his life, including night prayer, remembrance, repentance, dua, patience, gratitude, reliance on Allah, humility, love for Allah, and commitment to divine law. We were reminded to respond to good times with shukr and difficult times with sabr, while taking the right means and trusting Allah with the outcome. The speaker urged us to bring the Sunnah into our homes, celebrations, and community, not merely to know the seerah but to practice it. A good family goal is to choose one quality and work on it together this week.

  1. What is one small way you can remember Allah more tomorrow?
  2. When was a time you chose patience instead of getting upset?
  3. What is one Sunnah our family can practice together this week?
