For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that some everyday acts of worship can erase minor sins, especially praying together in the masjid, staying afterward for worship, and making wudu even when it is difficult. Other deeds raise our ranks with Allah, including feeding people, speaking gently, and praying privately at night. The Prophet's dua asks Allah to help us do good, avoid wrong, love the poor, receive forgiveness and mercy, and stay safe from trials. It also asks for Allah's love and for love of the deeds that bring us closer to Him. We should study this dua, understand it, and make it part of our daily lives.
