For the dinner table

After Ramadan, our goal is not to return completely to old habits but to keep some good deeds alive. The khutbah teaches that steady small actions are beloved to Allah, and dua keeps us humble and connected to Him. When life is hard, we should turn to Allah with patience while still doing our part. We should ask Allah for what is truly good for us, keep our sustenance halal, and trust that His answer may come now, later, or in the next life.
