Today’s khutbah reminded us that Muslims believe Allah revealed guidance through earlier scriptures, including the Torah and Injil, and that these revelations deserve respect. At the same time, Muslims believe the Quran is the final revelation that guides religious practice. The speaker encouraged us to explain this belief to Christian and Jewish neighbors calmly and without disrespect. He also asked us to live as good examples of our faith and prayed for people suffering from fires in California.
