For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us to prepare for the Day of Judgment and described seven categories of people who will receive Allah’s shade. These include people who act justly, grow up worshipping Allah, love the masjid, build friendships for Allah’s sake, resist temptation, give charity, and remember Allah alone with tears. He encouraged young people to build good habits and urged us to make time for private prayer and reflection. He also asked us to help make the masjid welcoming, especially for children, women, strangers, and people with disabilities. His message was that both worship and caring for others take steady effort, and he prayed that Allah would make worship easy for us and accept it.

  1. How could you help a friend make a good choice this week?
  2. What small habit could our family practice together to remember Allah more often?
