For the dinner table
Today's khutbah spoke about Allah's light and the guidance He gives us through the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. The khateeb recalled the false accusation against Aisha and reminded us to protect people's honor instead of spreading slander. He shared the Prophet's prayer asking Allah for light in our hearts, sight, hearing, and all around us. He also encouraged us to make wudu carefully and remember its connection to radiance on the Day of Judgment. Like a lighthouse helping ships reach a safe harbor, Allah's guidance helps us through life's difficulties, and the khateeb prayed for that light to fill our families' lives.
