For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that children are an amanah from Allah, and parents will be accountable for how they care for them. Along with teaching Islam, modeling it at home, and choosing good company, we should make sincere dua for our children. The khateeb shared Quranic duas for prayer, protection, righteous offspring, family happiness, gratitude, and guidance. He encouraged parents to be patient and consistent, even when children struggle or do not listen. We should never give up on our children or make harmful dua against them, but ask Allah to guide and protect them.
