Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that people naturally become servants of whatever they love most, so Allah should remain the heart's highest love. He encouraged us to strengthen that love through regular prayer, dhikr, morning and evening adhkar, and daily Quran reading with understanding and action. He warned that Shaytan can tempt practicing people with arrogance and struggling people with despair. When we fall, we should repent like Adam and never give up hope in Allah. He also urged the congregation to make hopeful dua for Syria and those who are suffering.
