Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that God created us for a purpose, not to live without direction. Each person has an amanah, or trust, including life, health, provision, and responsibilities. We should care for these blessings, avoid wasting them, and give our bodies the rest they need. We should also notice blessings beyond money and thank God for them. One day, we will answer to God for how we used what He entrusted to us.

  1. What is one blessing you noticed today that is not money?
  2. What responsibility has God entrusted to you at home or school?
  3. How can you take better care of your health this week?
