For the dinner table

Laylatul Qadr is a precious night in Ramadan, and the khateeb reminded us that it is better than a thousand months. We should try to spend it close to Allah through prayer, Qur’an, remembrance, repentance, and sincere dua, while leaving aside gossip, social media, and unnecessary socializing. If we become tired, we can vary our worship and still do what we can with focus. As a family, we can help one another and ask whether this Ramadan has brought us closer to Allah than the last one.

  1. Which act of worship helps you feel closest to Allah?
  2. How do you think we have grown since last Ramadan?
