For the dinner table

Today's khutbah focused on Allah's greatness, ownership, and mercy. It reminded us that prophets were sent as human examples so people could relate to and follow them, and that Prophet Muhammad was commanded to submit first. The sermon taught that real success is being saved from punishment, not simply gaining wealth or status. We were encouraged to read and reflect on at least half a page of Quran each week. Even during turmoil and hardship, our tests can bring us nearer to Allah, while we continue praying for people suffering around the world.

  1. What does success mean if it is more than money or possessions?
