For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that we protect what we value, and our relationship with Allah deserves our greatest care. Even ordinary things like work, friendships, and busy schedules can gradually pull our attention away from Him. He encouraged us to plan our days around prayer and bring our hearts into it, rather than rushing at the last minute. Growing closer to Allah also means learning to love what is good and trusting that His limits protect us, even when doing the right thing feels difficult. We can keep checking in with ourselves, support each other, and turn to Allah for help without losing hope.

  1. What could help us make room for prayer when we plan a fun outing?
  2. What is one worry you would like to ask Allah for help with in prayer?
