For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that time is not empty space; it is our life and our opportunity to prepare for the hereafter. Allah gives us health, youth, money, and free time, and we should use them before they change or disappear. The speaker warned us not to keep saying “later,” while phones, games, endless political talk, or bad company quietly consume our days. As a family, we can pray on time, learn, remember Allah, make good intentions in ordinary activities, and begin one useful change today.

  1. What is one part of your day you would like to use more wisely?
  2. What distraction most often makes you say, “I’ll do it later”?
  3. What good deed can we start together today?
