For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that taqwa means living with awareness of Allah and striving to become upright, honest, pure-hearted people. Islam’s practices, including prayer, zakat, Ramadan, and Hajj, are meant to purify us. We were urged to use artificial intelligence and social media wisely, protect children from addiction and isolation, and keep family life rooted in real human community. The speaker also asked us to stay united despite our differences and remain connected to people suffering in Palestine, Sudan, Kashmir, and elsewhere. We can respond through steady faith, speaking up, demonstrating, supporting relief, and refusing to grow tired.
