For the dinner table
The khutbah centered on Surah Qaf, a surah the imam said the Prophet often recited in Friday gatherings. Its reminders about resurrection, death, judgment, and Allah’s knowledge call us to live with taqwa and accountability. We were encouraged to listen to and study the surah during the week, keep our prayers and character strong, and stay connected through halaqas. The imam also asked Allah to have mercy on members’ deceased relatives and remembered people in Gaza and Palestine in dua. Families can carry the message forward by learning together, praying for others, and joining beneficial mosque activities.
- What part of Surah Qaf’s reminder about the Hereafter would you want to remember this week?
- Which mosque activity or halaqah would you like our family to attend?
- Who in our community or around the world can we remember in dua and support with kindness?
