This life is temporary, prepare for the Akhira

“Don't consider this earth as your resting place.”

For the dinner table

Br. Haider reminded us that this life is a temporary stop and that every person will eventually return to Allah. He warned us not to let endless wants blur the line between halal and haram, or to hope for Paradise without good deeds. True richness, he said, is keeping our iman, while justice must begin with how we treat our spouse, children, and family. Graves and funerals can wake us up to our limited time, so we should use our worldly resources to prepare for the Akhira. He closed by praying for people facing hardship, the oppressed, guidance, and the return of the Imam.
