Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that believers are a family joined by faith and love for Allah. That love grows through caring actions, like visiting someone who is lonely and helping others feel welcome. A good friend also acts like a mirror, helping us notice what we need to improve with honesty and care. Standing together in prayer reminds us that our race, money, and position do not make us better than anyone else before Allah. He warned us to protect others from hurtful words and unfair treatment, and encouraged us to cherish friends who remind us of Allah and help us toward Jannah.

  2. What would make helpful advice from a friend easier for you to hear?
  3. What is one way a good friend helps you remember Allah?
