For the dinner table

Ramadan showed us that Allah has given us the ability to worship with discipline, even when we eat and sleep less. The khateeb reminded us that Allah loves good deeds done regularly, even when they are small. We should carry Ramadan forward by protecting the five daily prayers, reading some Quran, making tawbah, and continuing charity, dhikr, service, and forgiveness. Difficult schedules and hardships are tests, so we should stay patient and ask Allah to keep our hearts firm on His deen. Small acts repeated with sincerity can bring Allah’s mercy, guidance, forgiveness, and hope of Paradise.
