The khateeb reminded us that Allah created us beautifully, even when comparisons make us feel we are not enough. That confidence goes together with humility, because our choices and actions matter. Our bodies, minds, families, possessions, and faith are trusts from Allah that we can care for through good deeds. Doing things for Allah's sake helps us keep going even when nobody notices or praises us, and the khutbah reminded us of lasting reward and justice in the hereafter. He also encouraged us to interact with the Quran by reflecting, responding, and letting its reminders bring gratitude into our hearts.

  1. What is one blessing you sometimes forget to thank Allah for?
  2. What kind deed could you do this week without needing anyone to notice?
  3. When comparing yourself with someone makes you feel small, what reminder from the khutbah could help?
