“You cannot delay your testimony when it is needed right now.”

The khateeb, at 9:17

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us to speak the truth and keep our hearts connected to Allah. The imam explained that we can turn to Allah wherever we are and ask for His help. Through stories of Musa, the believer from Fir'aun's people, and Abu Bakr, he showed the courage and care involved in standing up for faith and supporting others. He also reminded us that disagreements should be guided by a shared search for truth, and that our message may reach people we never expected. Our possessions and influence are temporary gifts, so we should use them to please Allah and entrust our affairs to Him.

  1. At what moment in your day would you like to remember to talk to Allah?
  2. How could you speak up kindly if someone at school was being treated unfairly?
  3. What could we share or use as a family this week to help someone and please Allah?
