For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Allah is our Rabb: the Creator, Owner, and One who deserves our worship. The speaker said the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad give guidance for every part of life, including how we treat people, marry, raise families, and conduct business. We were encouraged to accept what the Messenger taught, avoid what he forbade, and share Allah’s message responsibly. The goal is to live by Allah’s way and seek Jannah rather than letting society decide our values. We can begin by making our Friday worship, daily choices, and family relationships more consciously guided by Allah.

  1. What does it mean in everyday life to treat Allah as our Rabb?
  2. How can we share something good we learned without arguing or putting others down?
