For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that Allah is the giver of life and has granted every human being important rights and responsibilities. Among these are freedom, equality, justice, and the right to life. The khateeb explained that no race, social class, wealth, or physical strength makes someone better before Allah; true honor comes through righteousness and good deeds. Those with strength or wealth should use their blessings to care for people who are vulnerable or in need. He also encouraged consultation, accountable leadership, community involvement, and unity around the guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
