Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
On Eid, we can be happy that Allah helped us complete Ramadan, while also feeling sad that our worship may weaken. The khateeb reminds us not to treat Ramadan as a temporary season, but to keep praying, reading Quran, avoiding sins, and asking Allah to keep our hearts firm. He says lasting worship takes patience and effort, including pushing past excuses and working against our inner self. We should also encourage our families to keep salah part of daily life. The goal is to worship Allah faithfully for as long as we live.
- Which Ramadan habit would you like to carry into the rest of the year?
- What excuse makes worship harder for you, and how could you push past it?
- How can our family help one another keep praying?
