Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Ramadan taught us what it feels like to center our whole lives around Allah, but Allah is not only the Lord of Ramadan. The speaker encouraged us to remain Jannah-driven and Akhira-oriented in ordinary work, family life, and worship. That can mean forgiving relatives, serving parents, reviewing Qur'an, and repeatedly leaving harmful habits for the sake of Paradise. We should ask Allah not only for Jannah, but also for the words and deeds that lead us there. Each day is another chance to plant a seed for the Akhirah and walk toward Allah.

  1. What is one ordinary thing you could do this week for Allah?
  2. What is one small step toward Jannah you want to practice tomorrow?
  3. How can we turn a family responsibility into an act of worship?
