The khateeb reminded us that taqwa means putting Allah first in our lives. Through the story of Nuh, he showed how we can keep doing good despite pressure and distractions, while standing beside people others look down on. He encouraged us to share the goodness of our faith through community service, media, and representation. He also reminded us to resist hatred without letting it shape our own character, drawing on the prophets’ examples of staying focused on their message. He called us to care for our families, faith, and communities even when it is difficult, and prayed for relief for people suffering in Gaza and Palestine.
