For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught us from the story of the People of the Cave that faith is something we must protect and keep choosing. Those young believers held onto Allah even when their society pressured them, and Allah gave them a way to safety. We can protect our faith by learning our deen, reading and reflecting on Surah al-Kahf, and staying close to good companions. As a family, we should help one another stay connected to prayer, the masjid, remembrance of Allah, and people who bring us closer to Him.
