For the dinner table

The khateeb described conversations in the hereafter to help us think about the choices we make today. He reminded us to appreciate Allah’s blessings, even something as ordinary as water, and to pay attention to how our friends influence us. He warned against blaming others for our actions instead of taking responsibility. The people of Jannah were not sinless; they feared Allah, called upon Him, and were grateful for His kindness and mercy. We still have the opportunity to do good and make better choices, so let’s help one another use it well.

  1. What everyday blessing could we show more gratitude for tomorrow?

  3. When you make a mistake, what could help you take responsibility and turn to Allah?
