For the dinner table

Bilal Bhakhrani reminded us that struggling after Ramadan does not mean Allah rejected our worship. We should have a good opinion of Allah, keep turning back to Him, and let hope motivate continued effort rather than become an excuse for doing nothing. Small sincere acts, such as a page of Quran, two rak'ahs after Isha, or time spent making dua, can keep Ramadan's spirit alive. The khutbah encouraged us to leave Jumu'ah with a realistic plan for the day and week.

  1. What small good habit from Ramadan would you like to keep?
  2. How can hope in Allah help us try again after making a mistake?
  3. What is one worship goal we can practice together this week?
