For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that death and the Day of Judgment are certain, even though we do not know when they will come. Because the deadline is unknown, we should prepare every day through prayer, good deeds, remembrance, and sincere repentance. Loving the Prophet means learning about him, following his values, and sending blessings upon him. The speaker also reminded us that our deeds matter, but we ultimately depend on Allah’s mercy. When Allah is at the center of our lives, difficulties do not have to make our whole world collapse.

  1. What would daily preparation for the Hereafter look like in our family?
  2. What helps you look forward to salah?
  3. Which quality of the Prophet would you like to practice this week?
