Invest every stage of life in worship

“There does not have to be something traumatic in your life for you to return to Allah.”

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that youth, health, wealth, free time, and life are gifts from Allah that should not be wasted. We should use these blessings for prayer, learning, family responsibilities, charity, and good deeds. The khutbah also explained that khushu means bringing ourselves under control before Allah, not becoming weak or careless. We should make responsible plans and prepare well, while accepting that Allah may change those plans with wisdom we cannot see. A strong relationship with Allah continues in both hardship and ease.

  1. Which blessing, time, health, youth, wealth, or life, do you most want to use better?
