The khutbah reminds us not to remember Allah only when life becomes difficult. Nabi Yunus was already devoted to Allah before his trial, while Fir'aun's repentance at the moment of death was not accepted. The prophets also showed that good deeds, humility, hope, and fear should accompany our supplications. We should make more dua during peaceful times so that turning to Allah becomes part of our daily life. The sermon also asked the community to pray for those suffering, remember the deceased, and support the masjid.

  1. What is one good deed or dua you can keep doing when life feels easy?
  2. When something hard happens, what helps you remember to turn to Allah?
  3. What does it mean to hope in Allah while also being careful not to disobey Him?
