Build a home of mercy and friendship

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Allah’s blessings are beyond counting and that He answers our prayers with wisdom. He explained that marriage should provide security, love shown through actions, mercy, and friendship, helping create a caring home for children. He encouraged spouses to notice and praise good things, overlook small irritations, and discuss serious problems calmly, seeking wise help when needed. Through the Prophet’s gentle treatment of Anas, he reminded parents to show children the respect and kindness they want children to learn. He also urged us to thank our parents, care for them, and make dua for them, turning our love for the Quran and the Prophet into daily actions.
