For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that Allah created human beings from a humble beginning and honored us with special abilities. Our purpose is to worship Allah and live through the tests of this world with gratitude and good deeds. Wealth, children, status, and worldly success can become distractions if we forget the real competition: seeking Allah’s forgiveness. We should use our hearing, sight, and hearts as trusts for worship and reflection. Ultimately, we want to return to Allah with a pure heart and reach Jannah.
