For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Muslim unity is a gift from Allah and a responsibility we must live out. We should show that unity through mercy, patience, reconciliation, and standing by one another in hard times, not only by standing together in prayer. Parents are encouraged to raise honest, compassionate, responsible children, and young people are asked to serve society and build the future with good character and hard work. When we hold to faith and support one another in daily life, our community can face its difficulties together.

  1. What is one helpful thing you could do for someone this week?
  2. How can we show good character when we disagree with someone?
  3. What kind of service could our family do together?
