For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Muslims believe in all of Allah’s prophets, including Isa, and that their shared message was to worship Allah alone. The khateeb encouraged us to represent Islam in our everyday lives with neighbors, classmates, and coworkers. He explained that our responsibility is to share the message clearly without forcing anyone to believe. He also acknowledged that practicing our faith can be difficult, including for sisters wearing hijab, and encouraged us to remain firm through hardship. By learning about the Prophet Muhammad and his companions, we can find examples to help us hold on to our faith and remember that we will all return to Allah.
