Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The sunnah is not only something we talk about in public; it should be felt at home through mercy, patience, forgiveness, and love. The Prophet corrected mistakes without humiliating people, noticed when others were hurting, and made affection visible. Parents are a precious opportunity for service, so we should care for them, spend time with them, and seek their prayers while we can. The speaker urged spouses, parents, children, and siblings to apologize, reconnect, and choose reconciliation over pride. A home should be a place where Islam is not merely taught but experienced as mercy.

  1. What helps you feel noticed and loved at home?
  2. How can we show service to someone in our family this week?
  3. When is it hard to apologize or take the first step? If you could, what would you say?
