The khateeb reminded us to continue caring for people in Palestine and others facing oppression, even when there is a pause in the hardship. Drawing on the Prophet's example at Hudaybiyyah, he encouraged patience, renewed purpose, and continued service. He explained that rebuilding communities includes honoring people's dignity and tending to their emotional wounds, as well as rebuilding physical spaces. Through the example of the Ansar, he encouraged us to look beyond quick greetings, listen carefully, and help one another. He also reminded us that our faith should show in how we treat our families and neighbors, and that Jumu'ah is a chance to renew our mindfulness of Allah.
