For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that we do not know when or where our lives will end, so we should try to remain close to Allah and ready to meet Him. The Prophet taught that acts of kindness can protect a person from a bad ending. Kindness includes caring for relatives, telling the truth, supporting the weak, helping people through hardship, and speaking gentle words. The khateeb also warned that injustice can happen through speech and social media, especially when we spread unconfirmed claims or harm someone’s honor. We should correct our wrongs, apologize quickly, and fill our lives with good deeds while we still have time.
