For the dinner table

The khateeb taught that a strong prayer is not only for getting things we want. After asking for guidance, piety, and purified actions, we should ask Allah to use us in whatever pleases Him most. That means our words should help people, and our abilities and blessings should become tools for service. We should look for chances to become the answer to someone else’s prayer. The sermon ended by asking Allah to guide our speech, strengthen our taqwa, and use the whole community for good.
