For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us to listen to the Quran with our hearts, instead of letting everyday distractions take all our attention. The imam explained that seeking Jannah means making a decision and following Allah’s guidance through prayer, fasting, charity, kindness, and truthfulness. He compared putting off preparation for the hereafter to a student who keeps delaying studying for an exam. Through the stories of Ayyub and Yunus, he encouraged patience, turning to Allah, and trusting Him during difficult times. He ended with a hopeful reminder: keep asking Allah for help and do not give up.
