The khutbah reminds us that signs of Qiyamah are not puzzles meant to make us passive or fearful. They are warnings that should bring us back to worship, good character, courage, and useful action. Instead of asking only when the Last Day will come, we should ask what we have prepared for meeting Allah. The khateeb also urges Muslims to stop letting small differences divide us and to cooperate for good while disagreeing respectfully. Even when results are uncertain, we should keep planting seeds of benefit for others.

  1. What is one good action you can start this week, even if you may not see results right away?
  2. How can we disagree kindly and still work together as a family or community?
  3. What does being an active Muslim look like at school or in our neighborhood?
