For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that we will meet Allah and that our relationship with the Quran and our good deeds matter beyond this life. He described the difficulty of Judgment Day alongside the hope of Allah's mercy and Prophet Muhammad's care and intercession for his ummah. He encouraged us to follow Allah and His messenger and take our responsibilities seriously. He warned against associating partners with Allah, oppressing people under our care, and being proud of our sins. As a family, we can encourage one another to read the Quran, repent when we make mistakes, treat people fairly, and learn our faith from the Quran and the Prophet's teachings.
