For the dinner table

The khateeb reflected on Surah Al-Mulk and reminded us that Allah created life and death to test whose deeds are best, including how sincere we are. He encouraged us to respect Allah in private as well as around others, because Allah knows our intentions. The sky, birds, water, and our own hearing and sight were reminders of Allah’s power and the blessings we depend on. He spoke about accountability, seeking forgiveness during our lives, and preparing for our return to Allah through the choices we make today. He ended by encouraging us to read Surah Al-Mulk often, remember its lessons, and teach it to our children.
