For the dinner table

The khutbah said that Muslims should not be like ocean foam, many in number but without strength or direction. We were encouraged to build sincere faith, study the Quran and Sunnah, and turn pain over Gaza into personal growth and service. The speaker urged us to combine deen with excellence in school, work, and community life, while remembering that the Hereafter, not worldly comfort, is our ultimate goal. He honored a grieving grandfather as an example of patience, mercy, and love after loss. We can help the ummah by praying consistently, contributing our skills, caring for people, and overcoming ethnic and sectarian divisions.
