For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that, because we do not know when our lives will end, we should nurture our faith every day. He urged families to hold together to the rope of Allah: the Qur'an, the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, and the community. Through the story of Nuh and his son, he warned against trusting in other sources of safety while neglecting Allah's guidance. He reminded us to keep encouraging those we love with patience, while recognizing that guidance comes from Allah. He encouraged families to pray with their children from a young age and join community gatherings where we can help one another and grow together.
